These are all very nice things for folk to say. But we'd like you to decide for yourself! Preferably by buying the album....but if you're still not convinced, listen to tracks here
Since the limited Isle of Man release of our debut album, "Little Happyhells" at the end of 2003, we have had countless emails from new fans saying very lovely things. We've also had some great things said about us by the folk who have played us on the radio, and others who have emailed us asking if they can review us for their own websites. Here are just a few of them: -
"A TERRIFIC DEBUT....A GREAT ALBUM" - Bob Harris, BBC Radio2
“Very rarely is an album produced that it's possible to fall in love with entirely, but 'Little Happyhells' is fabulous from start to finish...”
Catherine Nicoll, Manx Radio Isle of Man

"Little Happyhells captures everything I love about this genre of music; great melodies, soulful lyrics and a lead voice that you never tire of hearing. Simon Rea’s vocals are a welcome break from a lot of what we are hearing today. My copy of the album is starting to wear out it’s been played that often. ‘The Last Man On The Moon’, already a classic!"
DANNY LACEY, Breakfast Show Presenter, Ridings FM, Leeds

'Little Happyhells is simply gorgeous. Lyrically sharp as well as moving, the songs are beautiful, memorable and have to be heard again and again. Aching, poignant and melodic, it's more like a greatest hits collection than a single album.’
Roy McMillan, Arts Editor, Manx Radio Isle of Man

"I think it's fantastic" - Janice Long, BBC Radio2
"Great record, great song" - Trevor Fry, BBC Bristol
